Green Bay Edition:
We are so back squad. This edition is coming to you hot from the midwest of the U-S-A. The heartland. The corn field. The domain of Clifford the big red Dentist. The league is gathering for a weekend of tomfoolery and shenanigans including a game at historic Lambeau field, our annual golf outing where the childless are hopelessly out gunned, and a whole lot of Splechers. There are few things in the world that compare to a pilgrimage of this magnitude. Some would say the pilgrimage to Mecca compares. Others the trek to the Virgin Juquilita in the Mountains of Oaxaca where the faithful will walk the last 10 miles on their knees to show their devotion. I think we all know how serious of a journey the league is on this week. Update on my garden. The thornless raspberry plants are filling up my morning smoothie cup along with the strawberries which are having a strong early fall. I’m down to 3 onions left in the ground and can’t recommend planting onions enough. The bonsai are also starting to get their fall colors and that is magical.
For the first time (can’t remember if the pats vs dolphins game in Miami way back was the first or not) we will be attending a game in person with players on both sides of a matchup. Cliff will get to watch Watson haul in 92 + yards and a touchdown while Dite will pray for the Falcons to just give Bijan the ball enough for him to do his thing. Gibbs is a merchant of fantasy points and should put up 30+ against the jets lol. Adams had a legacy game last week but if Puka comes back he could resume his modest WR2 status. Not to mention Drake Londons fate in Penix(s)‘s hands. Bite did pickup Kelce on the wire for 18 FAAB and it will be interesting to see if Kenneth’s continued performance keeps Kelce open downfield. This could be an ugly game folks. Moth picks Cliff
